Day 2 in my shoes...

I know that this will seem like I'm showing off my shoes but that isn't what these are about. I just don't feel like showing my face on my blog because I like the little bit of anonymity that this provides me. Of course I do know that there are things about pictures and digital cameras that have the ability to have GPS tags within the picture. I'm not really into taking those off, or even seeing if my camera is capable of that.

I've been spending a bit of time running around at work so shoes have more about comfort and functionality than what really look good with what I have on. I went nerdy to day with the white socks and black shoes, they're even ankle socks to make it worse.

I've gotten behind on folding socks and really anything would have gone with the grey pants and zebra striped shirt I had on but those were the ones that I grabbed as I was getting ready to head down the stairs.

I took this in the tiny bit of down time I had to day which was followed by picking that book up and reading a few more pages. I've wanted this book since seeing Randy Pausch on Oprah and I finally made that happen, let's say it was a Valentine's Day gift to myself. I saw it the last time that I was at Half-Price books and I didn't have enough cash to get it along with a few books off the clearance shelf. I found a gift card when I got to the check out but by then Sugar Bear was ready to go and I didn't think that I could make it all the way to the back and back to the register without upsetting the checker who was in training. I did however get to help her learn how to accept gift cards.

I like what I'm reading in this book and I have yet to start crying which is pushing it for me most of the time because I know that books like this make me sad, and sad to me means tears.
